so, my friend nikki hit me with a link to this. rhythm is the drummer in her band. sometimes in my little west hollywood bubble, i forget that there are still a lot of people out there who hate us.
I read about this on your FB the other day but the video makes it much more real. I can't believe this stuff still happens, that people are that barbaric and hateful, especially against things that have NOTHING to do with them.
I've just sent a friend request and note to them on myspace, i want to contribute something. Thanks for passing it along.
There is just tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much hate in this world! When we all realize that WE (humanity) are the proverbial "rainbow" then we will each get out "pot of gold" whatever that may be!
Wow, this was very moving. I admire her for speaking up about this. I was a victim of a hate crime in high school. I was raped and beaten by several guys I went to school with for being a lesbian. Of course, here in Alabama, there is no hate crime legislation for homosexuals. And, I was just a teen. The detectives did not take me seriously. Anyways, I have not really spoken about my incident until recently. So, kudos to her for using her story to make a difference!
